Controller
The operator listed in the identification details is the contact for processing for which it is responsible. Its name and privacy contact must still be completed.
What happens on this website?
Images, press downloads and fonts are served from this website. The site's own code does not use advertising pixels or visitor profiling. OpenAI Sites maintains platform statistics, including page views and unique visitors. The specific platform processing and retention periods must still be confirmed with the hosting service.
When a page loads, the hosting environment receives technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the time of your request. This is needed to deliver the website and may be logged for security. When access involves an account, the platform also processes sign-in information.
Contact form
We store your name, email address, selected subject, message, submission time and the version of this privacy notice to handle your enquiry. These fields are needed to receive and respond to your message. Submitting a message does not sign you up for the newsletter. Processing serves our legitimate interest in receiving and answering enquiries addressed to MIXXIE; a specific contract enquiry may also involve steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Contact messages have a retention period of 90 days. They are then automatically deleted on the next homepage visit or when a new form session starts. Deletion may be temporarily delayed by an outage. Separate correspondence or a contract may have its own retention period, which remains to be confirmed.
Newsletter signup
Signing up is voluntary. Only after you tick the separate consent box, which is unchecked by default, do we store your email address, the time, text and version of your consent, and a secure withdrawal code. The purpose is to provide updates about new music and MIXXIE news. The legal basis is your consent. Without consent, the signup is not stored.
This version collects signup requests; it does not yet send newsletters or confirmation emails. Ownership of the submitted email address has not been verified. Email delivery and address verification must be configured before the addresses are used to send updates.
After signing up, you receive a personal unsubscribe link that you can save. It lets you remove your request immediately without an account. You can also make a privacy request through the contact form. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. A signup request expires after two years and is then deleted on the next homepage visit or when a new form session starts, unless you unsubscribe sooner.
Form security
Messages and signups are not public on the website. They are available to authorised Site administrators. To protect against spam, short-lived limits are recorded using non-readable control values derived from email addresses and, where available, IP addresses. The site's form database does not store readable IP addresses for this purpose. These control values expire within two hours and are removed during the next cleanup.
Purpose, legal basis and retention
Technical processing is used to deliver the website, manage access and prevent misuse. The legal basis for each activity, specific retention periods or criteria, and any legitimate interests remain to be confirmed with the operator and hosting service.
Hosting and recipients
This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. For account information and the platform's own services, see OpenAI's European privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
The contracting entity, service providers' roles, processing agreements, and any transfers outside the European Economic Area with their safeguards remain to be confirmed. Linking to the platform policy does not replace the operator's duty to provide information.
Music and external release page
Clicking “Listen now” takes you to too.fm and potentially a streaming service. Their own privacy and cookie policies apply there. No external music player is embedded. The on-site player is prepared for an audio file served from this website, without autoplay.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Use the contact form with the subject “Privacy request” or the operator's direct contact address, which has yet to be completed.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (opens in a new tab).
The MIXXIE site's own code does not use automated decision-making or visitor profiling.
What is stored?
The MIXXIE site code does not set or read cookies and does not use browser storage for tracking. Its forms work without cookies or external embeds. Form sessions are temporarily held in the page's memory. You can download your personal unsubscribe link as a text file.
The hosting and sign-in environment may use cookies for access and security. Their exact names, domains, providers, purposes and lifetimes on this publication remain to be inventoried and confirmed. See also OpenAI's cookie policy (opens in a new tab).
Strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent. Non-essential cookies require valid consent before they are set or read. No MIXXIE tracking banner has been added because the website does not use such tracking; any additional platform cookies must be assessed separately.
You can remove stored cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Removing or blocking necessary sign-in cookies may interrupt access to the website.
